Nashville Predators player Jordin Tootoo tweeted in celebration on achieving one year of sobriety.

Tootoo voluntarily entered himself in the NHL's substance abuse and behavioral health program in December of 2010. Northern News Services reports the 28-year-old reportedly began his struggle with alcoholism after his brother committed suicide nine years ago. Tootoo has played eight seasons with the Nashville Predators and has tallied 45 goals and 63 assists.
