Packers OL Derek Sherrod Out with Broken Leg

Green Bay Packers rookie offensive lineman Derek Sherrod broke his leg in Sunday's game with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to the Associated Press.

Sherrod was forced into action after starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga left the game with an injured knee. He later joined Bulaga when Kansas City linebacker Tamba Hali rolled into his leg on a pass play.

A first-round pick out of Mississippi State, Sherrod was carted off the field after sustaining the injury.
