The New York Knicks will sign free agent Steve Novak to a one-year deal, according to a report by Yahoo! Sports. Novak, who was waived by the San Antonio Spurs Monday, will still have to clear waivers before the Knicks could sign him.

Novak has been known as a three-point specialist since coming  into the league since 2006. If he does end up signing with the Knicks, it will be Novak's fifth team since entering the league. He's a career 41% shooter from beyond the arc, where he has taken the majority of his shots.
