Washington Redskins quarterback Rex Grossman said his team was motivated to beat the Giants after cornerback Antrel Rolle’s disparaging comments about their squad, according to ESPN New York.

Grossman told SiriusXM NFL radio that Rolle made comments prior to the game that the Giants would beat the Redskins “99 out of 100 times.” The Redskins cruised to an easy 23-10 victory over New York on Sunday in Giants Stadium.

"Definitely, how can you take that comment any other way," Grossman reportedly said when asked if the Redskins felt disrespected. "Ninety-nine out of 100 times they are going to beat us? And we beat them two in a row this year. I am not going to the casino with him anytime soon."

Grossman threw for 185 yards and one touchdown on the game. Rolle made four tackles in the Giants losing effort.
