While it was merely the preseason, the Los Angeles Clippers and the Los Angeles Lakers played the closest thing to a statement game that the NBA has seen in months last night.

The newly revamped Clippers defeated the Lakers in the Staples Center 114-95 in what was each team’s first preseason game. The highlight of the night came from DeAndre Jordan who dunked over the Lakers’ two big men, Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum:

Among many of the team’s big moves this offseason, the Clippers signed Jordan to a five-year, $40 million contract. The fourth-year big man finished with six points, six rebounds, and four blocks on the night.
