Aaron Rodgers Named AP Male Athlete Of The Year

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named the Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year today.

Rodgers, 28, led the Green Bay Packers to a Super Bowl championship in 2011, earning the game’s MVP honors.

The hyper-accurate quarterback has since led the Packers on a dazzling 13-1 season so far in 2011. With Rodgers under center, the Packers put together a 19-game winning streak.

Through 14 games this season, Rodgers has posted an NFL leading 120.1 quarterback rating and has thrown for an NFL leading 40 touchdown passes.
