Report: Nationals Close To Signing Mark DeRosa

The Washington Nationals are close to signing free-agent infielder Mark DeRosa to a one-year, major-league contract, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

According to Rosenthal, DeRosa will serve as a utility infielder off the bench for Washington. He played first base, third base and second base last season.
