Warriors’ Stephen Curry Day-To-Day With Sprained Ankle

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is day-to-day after suffering a sprained right ankle in Tuesday’s preseason game against the Sacramento Kings, according to the team’s website.

Curry sustained the ankle injury at the end of the first half. An MRI and CT scan confirmed the diagnosis.

If Curry misses game action – the team’s season opener is Sunday night against the Los Angeles Clippers – the website notes that the bulk of the minutes at point guard would be available to Ish Smith and Charles Jenkins.
