The St. Louis Cardinals and centerfielder Carlos Beltran have agreed on a two-year contract, according to Derrick Goold of St. Lous Post-Dispatch.

The Cleveland Indians had entered the mix earlier Thursday, but Beltran has reportedly decided to join the Cardinals instead.
