The St. Louis Rams are expected to fire head coach Steve Spagnuolo, according to NFL.com. The team is reportedly interested in “making a serious run” at former Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher.

The Rams, 2-13, are currently tied with the Indianapolis Colts for having the worst record in the NFL. Last season the Rams finished 7-9, just narrowly missing a playoff spot.

Since becoming the head coach of the Rams in 2009, Spagnuolo has posted a 10-37 record overall. If the Rams fail to win this weekend’s game against the 12-3 San Francisco 49ers, he will have failed to win more than two games in two out of his three seasons as head coach of the Rams. Fisher, 53, posted a 142-120 career record as the head coach of the Tennessee Titans and Houston Oilers. His only appearance in the Super Bowl came in 1999 when the Titans fell to the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV.
