The Seattle Mariners have interest in veteran starting pitcher Kevin Millwood, according to MLB Trade Rumors.

The 37-year-old starter posted a 3.98 ERA for the Colorado Rockies in nine starts last season after signing a minor league contract with the club in early August.  The Rockies were the third team he had signed a minor league deal with in 2011, after previously signing and opting out of deals with the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox during the spring.

Over the course of his 15-year-career Millwood has won 163 games while posting a career 4.10 ERA. Millwood led the American League in ERA with a 2.86 mark for the Cleveland Indians in 2005, and was named to the 1999 All-Star game when he posted an 18-7  record and a 2.68 ERA for the Atlanta Braves.
