The Detroit Tigers have joined a long list of suitors in the hunt to sign Chicago Cubs pitcher Matt Garza, according to a FoxSports.com report.

The New York Yankees are thought to be involved, as well, but the Cubs' asking price is reportedly too high. Still, with Garza's experience pitching in the AL East, he still stands a target for New York. In addition, both the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox have expressed interest in the ex-Tampa Bay Ray. Garza was 10-10 last year with Chicago, with 197 strikeouts and a 3.32 ERA.
