San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili suffered a broken left hand in Monday night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Mike Monroe of Spurs Nation.

According to Monroe, Ginobili suffered the injury with 2:38 remaining in the game, as he tried to strip the ball from Timberwolves forward Anthony Tolliver as Tolliver went up for a shot. He went down and immediately grabbed his left hand; x-rays revealed a broken bone. This season, Ginobili has averaged 19.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. The 34-year old guard has spent his entire career with the Spurs, averaging 15.3 points per game over nine seasons.
