Serena Williams, one of the most accomplished female tennis players of all time, said today that she does not love the sport, according to ESPN.

"I mean, I don't love tennis today, but I'm here, and I can't live without it ... so I'm still here and I don't want to go anywhere any time soon," Williams said according to ESPN.

"It's not that I've fallen out of love; I've actually never liked sports, and I never understood how I became an athlete," she said, according to the website. "I don't like working out; I don't like anything that has to do with working physically."

Williams has won 13 Grand Slams since turning professional in 1995. The 30-year-old star has been battling back from a series of injuries to her foot and lungs over the past two years.
