Washington Huskies running back Chris Polk announced today that he will enter the NFL draft, according to ESPN.

"I'm ready to move on to the next phase of my life," Polk told reporters today. "I may not be the biggest or the fastest but I will do whatever it takes to win."

Polk ran for 1,488 yards and 12 touchdowns this season for the Huskies. Last season he ran for 1,415 yards with a career best 5.4 yards per carry. Polk finished his tenure at Washington just 57 yards shy of the school’s all-time rushing record.
