Ronny Turiaf Suffers Broken Hand, Out 5-6 Weeks

Washington Wizards big man Ronny Turiaf has suffered a broken hand, according to CSN Washington.

Turiaf will be sidelined five to six weeks with the injury. The Wizards had acquired the former Gonzaga standout along with a second round pick and cash considerations from the Dallas Mavericks in December.

Through four games this season Turiaf had averaged 1.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest. Last year Turiaf served an important role coming off the bench for the Knicks. In 64 games with New York he averaged 4.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
