Report: Bart Scott Fined $10,000 For Obscene Gesture

The New York Jets have fined Bart Scott $10,000 for giving a photographer the middle finger, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

When asked about a circulating rumor earlier this week that the former All-Pro linebacker wouldn’t be back with the Jets in 2012, Scott reportedly responded:

”All I know is I’ve got a guaranteed contract for $4 million,” Scott replied. He then displayed his middle finger and told reporters to “take a picture of this,” while leaving the locker room.
