Terry Bradshaw Lashes Out At Jets' Santonio Holmes In ESPN Radio Interview

Jets receiver Santonio Holmes has already caught a lot of flak this week after quitting on his team in the final minutes of Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Dolphins. But getting ripped publicly by a Hall of Famer? There's a new low.

FOX NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw bashed Holmes today on "The Michael Kay Show" on ESPN NewYork 1050, saying he'd cut the disgruntled receiver if he were running the Jets.

"He's pouting. He's sitting over there. He's not giving a great effort. I'd cut his a--, send him down the highway, move him on," Bradshaw said. "Why would you put up with it? Because he can run a 4.3 40 and make one-handed catches whenever he feels like it?"

Holmes was benched for the final two minutes of the Jets' season finale by the team's offensive coordinator, Brian Schottenheimer. He had gotten into a heated argument with lineman Wayne Hunter, walked away, and spent the rest of the game watching from the bench.
