Barry J. Sanders will commit to Stanford Saturday during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, according to the Tulsa World. Sanders is the son of Barry Sanders, and NFL star with the Detroit Lions and a Heisman Trophy winner at Oklahoma State.

The younger Sanders -- a running back for Heritage Hall High School -- will choose Stanford over his father's alma mater, Alabama, and Florida State.

“Yeah, probably so,” a source close to Sanders told the newspaper. “He’s going to Stanford.”

Sanders rushed for 1,324 yards and 27 touchdowns in his senior year.
