Original - 3:37 P.M: Denver Broncos quarterback Brady Quinn has taken half of the snaps with the first-team this week in practice, sources have told NBC Sports.
Tim Tebow is expected to start for the Broncos in their playoff game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, however it is unknown whether he will have a short leash following a three-game losing streak to end the regular season for Denver. During that span, Tebow threw four interceptions and fumbled the ball five times. In his previous eight games, of which he helped Denver win seven, he only gave up two total interceptions.
Overall this season, Tebow has led the team to a 7-4 record as the starting quarterback. In 12 games played he has thrown for 1,729 yards, 12 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He also ran fro 660 yards and six rushing touchdowns. Quinn, a former first round pick for the Browns, has not played since 2009 when he posted a 67.2 quarterback rating in 10 games for Cleveland.
