Report: Brady Quinn Takes Half Of First-Team Snaps In Practice For Broncos

Update - 4:49 P.M: Brady Quinn denied reports that his practice regiment had changed in anyway leading up to the Denver Broncos playoff game this weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Quinn told NFL.com via text message that he hasn't “gotten any extra reps” in practice.

Original - 3:37 P.M: Denver Broncos quarterback Brady Quinn has taken half of the snaps with the first-team this week in practice, sources have told NBC Sports.

Tim Tebow is expected to start for the Broncos in their playoff game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, however it is unknown whether he will have a short leash following a three-game losing streak to end the regular season for Denver. During that span, Tebow threw four interceptions and fumbled the ball five times. In his previous eight games, of which he helped Denver win seven, he only gave up two total interceptions.

Overall this season, Tebow has led the team to a 7-4 record as the starting quarterback. In 12 games played he has thrown for 1,729 yards, 12 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He also ran fro 660 yards and six rushing touchdowns.
