Arizona State Dismisses Leading Scorer Keala King From Team

This season just went from bad to worse for Arizona State men's basketball, as leading scorer Keala King has been dismissed from the team.

"We have decided that Keala will no longer be with the team," head coach Herb Sendek said in a statement. "We wish him nothing but the best in his future."

King, the sophomore guard who led the Sun Devils with 13.7 points per game this season, had been suspended last week for "unacceptable conduct" and didn't make the trip for last week's games at USC and UCLA. He and Sendek had admitted to clashing at times last year, with King even contemplating a transfer prior to this season.
