Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow didn’t just earn his first-ever playoff win with the club’s 29-23 overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday, he also earned a substantial performance bonus.

According to NESN, Tebow has an escalator clause in his contract that allows him to earn $250,000 for each playoff victory the Broncos capture. If the Broncos come through with another upset win this weekend against the New England Patriots, Tebow will reportedly receive another bonus. Prior to Sundays big win, Tebow had already matched the first half of his escalator clause that required the second-year quarterback to play at least 70 percent of the team’s snaps. Tebow played 73 percent of the team’s offensive plays this season.
