The Buffalo Bills have had new talks to re-sign free agent wide receiver, Stevie Johnson, according to ProFootballTalk.

Bills general manager Buddy Nix reportedly outlined his plans for the team this offseason at a press conference today and listed Johnson as one of the club’s top priorities. According to ProFootballTalk, Nix has a general interest in improving the team’s wide receiving corps as a whole.

Johnson caught 76 passes and recorded 1004 yards and seven touchdowns in 2011, making him the team’s leading receiver. Last year he grabbed 82 passes and scored 10 touchdowns for Buffalo. Nix also expressed a willingness to keep Fred Jackson in Buffalo and in re-signing Demetrius Bell, Rian Lindell and Scott Chandler.
