Son Of Green Bay Packers Offensive Coordinator Missing

Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin’s son has been reported  missing, according to the Associated Press.

The AP reports that Michael T. Philbin of Ripon, 21, disappeared after visiting friends in Oshkosh, Wisconsin Sunday evening. Police in Oshkosh say that he was last heard from around 2 a.m. on Sunday.

In 2009, Michael Philbin had been sentenced to six months in prison after sexually assaulting two young girls and being charged with two counts of battery.

Joe Philbin will be coaching the Packers this weekend against the New York Giants in the second round of the NFL playoffs. The 50-year-old coordinator has been rumored to be a head coaching candidate for several teams around the league this offseason.

Update (9:07 p.m.) - A body has been found in the Fox River in Wisconsin and police have identified the body as that of Michael Philbin's, according to Jason Wilde of ESPN. The full story can be found here.
