Jim Rome’s transition from ESPN to CBS Sports is now official, according to USA Today.

The controversial talk show host will reportedly make his debut with the network by providing feature content surrounding CBS’ coverage of the NCAA Tournament. USA Today reports that his basketball coverage will lead into an eventual weekday talk show on CBS Sports Network, which will have a similar format to the one he previously hosted on ESPN.

Rome will also debut a show next fall on Showtime, a premium channel owned by CBS, which will reportedly be “something totally different” than anything Rome has done in his well-documented career. Rome’s most recent stint with ESPN began in 2004. He originally joined the network in 1993 on ESPN 2.
