15-year NFL veteran Derrick Mason will retire from the NFL, according to online reports. Mason spent 2011 with the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, and Houston Texans.

"I'm done," Mason told Scout.com. "I won't be playing football. I leave it healthy and able to run and walk and not take a half-hour or 45 minutes to get out of bed. Me leaving now, even though it didn't happen the way I wanted it to happen, I had a good run." Mason, 37, was a two-time Pro Bowl selection who spent the majority of his career with the Ravens and Tennessee Titans.
