Morris Claiborne Is Expected To Declare For The NFL Draft

LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne is expected to forgo his senior season and declare for the NFL draft, according to the Associated Press.

The school has reportedly scheduled a press conference with head coach Les Miles to announce the All-American’s decision this afternoon. It is believed that he will become the second consecutive Tigers defensive back to be drafted in the first round after Patrick Peterson was taken with the No. 5 overall pick last year.

Claiborne led LSU in interceptions this season with six while also leading the team in kickoff return average. His 11 career interceptions tie him for the sixth most in school history.
