Report: Reigning NL MVP Ryan Braun pleads case

Ryan Braun pleaded his case Thursday night in front of a three member panel that will decide if his 50 game suspension for testing positive for elevated levels of testosterone will be upheld, according to the New York Daily News.

There is not expected to be a decision on the matter prior to Braun's accepting the National League Most Valuable Player award Saturday, according to the report.

A source told the newspaper that Braun tested "insanely high, the highest ever for anyone who has ever taken a test, twice the level of the highest test ever taken."
