San Francisco 49ers tight end Delanie Walker said Thursday that he hopes to return Sunday from a broken jaw sustained late in the regular season, according to the Associated Press.

Coach Jim Harbaugh indicated Thursday that the decision will be left up to the team doctors.

"If they leave it up to me, of course I'm going to play," Walker told the AP. "I want to help my team out, and this is a big game, and I feel like if I'm out there maybe I can help out with the offense." Walker has 19 catches and three touchdowns on the season for the 49ers.
