Allen was recently asked to have a second interview with the club which was expected to take place at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL. Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice was also considered a major candidate for the position. Allen has no previous head coaching experience. 2011 was his first year as the 39-year-old had served as the Broncos’ defensive coordinator.
