Texas Rangers relief pitcher Koji Uehara has exercised his no-trade clause to veto a proposed trade to the Toronto Blue Jays, according to ESPNDallas.com.

A clause in Uehara's contract said that he could not be traded to six teams, one of which being the Blue Jays. Uehara appeared in just 22 games for the Rangers last year, compiling a 4.00 ERA in 18 innings.
