Mets Induct P John Franco To Team's Hall of Fame

The Mets announced today that they will induct former closer John Franco to the team’s Hall of Fame.

In 14 seasons with the Mets, Franco went 48-56 with a 3.10 ERA in 702 2/3 innings pitched during 695 games. He finished 484 games and totaled 276 saves, allowing 276 walks and striking out 592.

Pitching for the Reds, Mets, and Astros during his 21-year career, Franco is fourth on the all-time saves list with 424.
