Scott Olsen Signs Minor League Deal With Chicago White Sox

Former Florida Marlins and Washington Nationals starting pitcher Scott Olsen has signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox, tweets ESPN’s Jerry Crasnick.

Olsen spent the 2009 season struggling to overcome shoulder tendinitis and later having surgery on a left labrum tear. As a result he posted a 6.03 ERA in just 11 starts for the Nationals. In 2010 Olsen posted a 4-8 record with a 5.56 ERA in 81 innings pitched for Washington.
