Last season, Pierre had two home runs, 50 RBI and hit .279 in 158 games for the Chicago White Sox. Despite his age, Pierre stole 27 bases for the White Sox last season, and led the league in sacrifices. Pierre has led the league in stolen bases in 2001, 2003, and 2010. The 33-year-old past the 500 steal plateau two years ago as a member of the Chicago White Sox.
