Rob Gronkowski Misses Second Consecutive Practice With Ankle Injury

New England Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski missed his second consecutive practice, according to the Associated Press.

"I'm not going to try to forecast where things will be 10 days from now," head coach Bill Belichick told the AP.

Gronkowski was forced to leave the game after an ankle injury in the third quarter against the Baltimore Ravens in last Sunday’s AFC Championship game. The 22-year-old had to be helped by team trainers as he hopped off the field in pain. The Patriots went on to secure a 23-20 victory over the Ravens, ensuring their fifth Super Bowl appearance since 2001.
