Miami Heat star Lebron James rode his bike to the America Airlines Arena for the Sunday night showdown between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls, according to NBC Sports.

Facing blocked-off streets because of the annual ING Miami Marathon, James was seen riding his custom designed bike with a decal reading “King James” on its side.  ABC reported Lebron rode three miles to the arena, setting a good example by wearing his helmet the entire way.

Each year, James hosts many charity events one of which provides bikes to the underserved youth in his native city of Akron, Ohio. After arriving to the American Airlines Arena safe and sound, James led the Heat to a 97-93 victory over Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls.  James had 35 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and one block.  Currently, the Heat are 15-5, standing first in the Southeast Division.
