Corey Patterson is still alive and kicking, agreeing today to a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers, according to the Associated Press.

Patterson began the 2011 season as a regular starter for the Toronto Blue Jays, batting .252 with six homers, before being traded to St. Louis at the deadline as a throw-in in the Colby Rasmus deal. Patterson is a 12-year veteran with a career .252 average. He's traveled well throughout his career, playing for the Cubs, Orioles, Nationals, Brewers, Orioles, Blue Jays and Cardinals.
