Longtime Muhammad Ali Trainer Angelo Dundee Passes Away

Angelo Dundee, the longtime boxing trainer known for his work with Muhammad Ali, died on Wednesday, according to NBC Sports. He was 90.

Dundee died with his family surrounding him in Tampa, Fla., according to NBC Sports.

"It was the way he wanted to go," his son, Jimmy Dundee, said. "He did everything he wanted to do."

Dundee was Ali’s trainer for almost his entire career and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1994, according to NBC Sports. He trained 15 world champions, but is best known for his work with Ali.
