This move will double an NFL schedule that featured just seven Thursday night games in 2011. In total, the NFL Network has aired 48 games on Thursday Night Football since it's inception in November of 2006. These games will be in addition to the usual Sunday and Monday night game which tend to feature teams coming off of winning seasons.
