Landry was averaging 11.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game for the Hornets, splitting time at the power forward position with Jason Smith. He injured the MCL during last night's loss to the Detroit Pistons.
In related news, the AP reports that Lance Thomas will sign a 10-day contract with the Hornets on Monday. The 6-foot-8 Thomas is a second-year pro out of Duke who spent his first pro season in the D-League. He made the Hornets' team out of training camp and played in two games early this season before being waived Dec. 31.
