Derrick Rose Leaves Bulls-Nets Game With Back Spasms

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose left because of lower back spasms in tonight's 108-87 win over the New Jersey Nets.

Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau hinted before the game that Rose was struggling with a back injury, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago, but he was confident Rose could play. Rose started and had four points, but he was forced to leave early.

"My back tends to get tight a little bit," Rose told Friedell on Saturday. "That's why my shots were kind of flat. But I know after tonight and the day off [Sunday], I'll get my back worked on and that should be out of the way quick."
