There's still no timetable for captain Sidney Crosby to make his return to the Pittsburgh Penguins, but there's certainly progress -- Crosby practiced with the team today, according to the Associated Press.
Crosby has been out for the Pens since Dec. 5, battling a concussion and neck injury. He has played in just eight games this season. In this afternoon's practice, he was able to move with energy and take part in every drill.
"It was good to be out there," he said. "I wasn't going to skate by myself if I didn't have to. This week's been pretty good. I feel like I'm getting there. I don't know the timeframe. I wish I did." Crosby said he's still not 100 percent symptom-free, but added, "As soon as I am, hopefully I'll be out there. That's where I want to be."
