The St. Louis Rams will have a second meeting with Vikings director of player personnel George Paton about their open general manager position, according to ESPN.
The Rams fired general manager Billy Devaney and coach Steve Spagnuolo on Jan. 2, the day after they finished the season tied for the NFL's worst record at 2-14.
They hired former Titans coach Jeff Fisher to replace Spagnuolo, but the search for Devaney's successor continues.
The Rams met with Paton once last week and plan to see him again earlier this week. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, they also interviewed Jets vice president of college scouting Joey Clinkscales in late January. Cardinals personnel director Steve Keim, Titans vice president of football operations Lake Dawson and Colts director of player personnel Tom Telesco have also been mentioned as potential candidates.
