The Pittsburgh Steelers will reportedly hire Todd Haley to be their next offensive coordinator, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
Haley had previously served as the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs before being fired midway through the 2011 season. Overall he led the Chiefs to a 19-27 record during his three year stint with Kansas City. In 2010 the club posted an AFC West leading 10-6 record.
Haley will replace Bruce Arians who took a job with the New York Jets this offseason. Arians has over 35 years experience in coaching. He began his career at his alma mater, Virginia Tech, as a grad assistant in 1975. He broke into the pros as a running backs coach for the Kansas City Chiefs in 1989.
