Former Patriot Rodney Harrison Bashes Rob Gronkowski For Post-Super Bowl Partying

Rob Gronkowski garnered a lot of negative attention when he was caught on camera partying and dancing shortly after his New England Patriots lost Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday night. But today, the criticism came from a surprising source -- Rodney Harrison, himself a former Super Bowl champion Patriot.

"When we lost the Super Bowl, any of my Super Bowl losses, I was so devastated, the last thing I ever wanted to do was party, let alone dance or take off your shirt," Harrison said in an ESPN radio interview today. "It's just immaturity. It's not right. He made a mistake, and I'm sure he feels absolutely stupid about it at this point."

Harrison, who now works as an analyst for NBC, has experience losing the big game -- he came up short with both the 1995 Chargers and the 2008 Patriots. He was defending David Tyree on the infamous catch that led to the Pats' demise in that loss four years ago.

"I guarantee you this," Harrison said. "If Willie McGinest, Tedy Bruschi, Larry Izzo, Richard Seymour or myself had been at that party, [Gronkowski] probably would have got his head rung. There's no reason for that to happen."
