Tyson Chandler Didn't Know Jeremy Lin Could Dunk Until Last Night

New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler said that he didn’t know that sophomore sensation Jeremy Lin could dunk, according to SB Nation. He quickly found out last night when the Knicks point guard crossed up last year’s No. 1 overall pick John Wall and drove the ball to the basket for a slam in their 107-93 win over the Wizards.

"I didn't know he could dunk," Chandler said, according to SB Nation. "When he was going in for a dunk I was like 'No Jeremy, just lay the ball up' and all of sudden he dunks it. I probably was just as excited as the crowd was."

"I was thinking after he dunked," he added, "for at least 20 seconds I was thinking, 'Did I know he could dunk?' I don't remember him dunking."

Lin has seemingly overnight become the answer to the prayers of Knicks fans who have been desperately seeking an answer at point guard this season. Over the last three games, Lin has averaged 25.3 points and 8.3 assists per contest, helping New York win their last three contests.
