The San Francisco Giants and reliever Guillermo Mota have agreed to a one-year contract worth $1 million, according to the Associated Press. Mota, 38, was a free agent, but he spent the previous two seasons with the Giants.

Last season in San Francisco Mota appeared in 52 games and compiled a 2-2 record with a 3.81 ERA. Mota, a 13-year professional, has spent time with six other major league clubs, including separate stints with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
