The St. Louis Rams have hired former Atlanta Falcons director of player personnel Les Snead as their general manager, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The report states that Snead and the Rams entered negotiations Saturday.

New head coach Jeff Fisher wanted a GM that was good with people and easy to get along with, according to the paper, and Snead reportedly fits the bill. No details of his contract have been released.
