With the 50th anniversary of Chamberlain’s historic game approaching, the 76ers will likely announce their plans for the historic hardwood court next month on the day the record was set. Wilt Chamberlain set the NBA single-game scoring record as a Philadelphia Warrior in a 169-147 win against the New York Knicks on March 2, 1962.  Along with 100 points, Chamberlain had 25 rebounds.  He also holds the NBA record with 55 rebounds in a single game.
