The Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees are currently interested in 19-year-old Cuban baseball prospect, according to ESPN.com.

Soler is considered a major power hitting prospect, and according to some analysts would be one of the top 50 prospects in baseball immediately after signing with a team. While some believe he isn’t athletic as fellow Cuban defector Yeonis Cespedes, who just yesterday signed a four-year, $36 million deal with the Oakland Athletics, he is seven years younger and may have more upside. It has been rumored that some teams, including the Chicago Cubs, are willing to bid as high as $27 million for his services.
